Overview: Awaken previously created a successful video for eneloop to showcase the benefits of using rechargable batteries to help reduce waste and make a positive impact on the environment.

Awaken were briefed to create a follow up fresh creative that fun and explained the environmental messaging in a simple and uplifting way.

Objective:  To drive awareness  / consideration and encourage consumers to make a positive impact on the environment / make the environmentally responsible choice of purchasing eneloop rechargeable batteries. over the standard alkaline (single charge) battery.

Proposition: Safe, reliable, long lasting and less environmental waste.

Tone of Video: Fun and simplistic. using uplifting and positive messaging.

 

Territory: We decided to lean into the environmental space to create a narrative that Eneloop can own:

·       Recharged by the sun

·       Keeping the future bright for future generations

·       Backdrops - clean space in nature i.e. beaches, water, green space, forest.

Rationale

Eneloop batteries create a sense of sustainable life and positive energy, contributing to a cleaner / lighter lifestyle.

Own the clean / green environmental space.

Idea

Eneloop batteries put you ahead of the rest - outperforming the competitors whilst putting the planet first. I.e. other single use brands are weighed down by the environmental waste associated with their use, whilst Eneloop are light, weightless, clean by comparison.

You are stronger / faster / cleaner / LIGHTER - choose a product that won’t weigh you down.
