Klarna - Buy Now Pay Later (B2B + B2C)

Klarna faced significant challenges as they launched in ANZ, the most cluttered BNPL market globally during the pandemic. We were retained as their performance agency in Q4 to grow market share, acquire customers and maximise Klarna payments. We developed a media/creative matrix leveraging dynamic creative to serve highly tailored messaging aligning audiences and brands, which allowed us to react to retailer sales or key shopping moments (Black Friday, Singles Day, Cyber Monday etc) without high production costs.

This approach allowed us to maximise cost efficiencies, have 1000+ messages in market over a 3 month period and drive personalisation. Underpinned by this was a reporting dashboard and measurement methodology allowing us to map and optimise to an uplift in retailer sales, conversion rates and AOV to specific media channels and messaging leveraging cross-channel reporting connecting client sales data to media data.
